Who; Auryn and Krys.
When; December 14th, evening.
Where; Their apartment.
Summary; Happy fun times with the two roommates!
Rating/Warnings; Should be PG. Maybe.
The kotatsu must have been the greatest invention in the world.
Krysanthe must have been laying under it for hours now (or atleast, what felt like hours), just grabbing things within reach and once in awhile, actually doing something productive, like her homework. But most of her time was spent just snuggling under the warmth of the kotatsu, simply sleeping the day away for the lull of dreams was simply too much to fight. That and she felt a slight cold coming on, so perhaps she was just trying to sleep the sickness away as well.
Head buried underneath the outer blankets of the kotatsu, Krys wondered if Auryn was still upstairs on his loft. Fingers playing with Kunpao’s tiny ears, the girl tuned her hearing on their seemingly empty apartment, but only came up with the sounds of the wind and rain lashing against the windows. A soothing sound, but not the one she wanted to hear.
Yawning, Krys extracted herself from underneath the kotatsu and arched her back, much like a cat, to look around her surroundings. Her dog yipped a protest, not appreciate the cold air that had wafted in from the opening, but otherwise it settled down when he realized that Krys would not be moved until she located her roommate. The girl yawned again and sleepily flopped back down onto her stomach, chin rested on forearms as she lazily surveyed the apartment.
“Auryn?” She called out, half-expecting to hear her echo respond to her instead of the actual person. Auryn had most of the time shared the kotatsu with her, but studying or reading up on extra material took up his time. Despite having the heater on, the apartment still had a slight chill in the air. “Did you freeze to death or are you still alive?”
