Who: Heathcote Barbary and Stephen Cornfoot. When: July 12th. Afternoon. Where: The bookstore in which Stephen works. What: Searching for books and first time meetings. And what not. Rating: Low.
After some consideration on the subject and much looking at the picture of the rainbow cake clipped from the magasine, Heathcote decided that he should probably get a cookbook so that he actually had half a chance of his upcoming cake turning out. He did not want to serve his fellow Sisters unpleasant cake, after all. And while there was a chance he would end up burning it anyway (Heathcote was forgetful when it came to things like timers and taking food out of the oven in a timely manner before it was burned to a crisp) he figured he'd get as many odds in his favour as he could.
So, a cookbook.
For a book, he needed to go to a bookstore and he chose one at random - the first one he came across while the idea was in his head. He brushed through the door, looking unassuming and purple in a lilac coloured worn v-neck t-shirt, equally worn and faded jeans and a pair of very bright purple Converse high tops. His blonde hair was fluffy as usually, like dandelion fluff instead of hair.
Heathcote glanced around briefly, and then decided asking was the best bet. Otherwise he was likely to wander around, get distracted by something entirely unrelated and end up walking out of the shop with a book on rabbits and nothing at all on cooking.
Heading up to the counter, he smiled a slightly dreamy smile at the young man standing on the other side. "Hello," he said in his drifting voice. "Could you help me, please?"
