Who: Tracey Davis & Stephen Cornfoot What: Walking and talking Where: Castle grounds; the Pitch? When: September 4th, afternoon Rating: Low
Tracey never thought this day would come; the day when she, along with everybody else, would be back inside the familiar stone walls of Hogwarts, learning yet again the appropriate magic they were all accustomed to. The brunette found it surreal to be surrounded yet again with the familiar stone walls of the castle, especially after spending almost a year away from London. She returned from Italy at the beginning of the summer, hoping to catch up on all the things and people she unintentionally left behind, wanting to make up for lost time.
Even though majority of Tracey's time was spent indoors in the comforts of her own bed, she had succeeded a bit in her goal, and she would be glad to note that Stephen Cornfoot was the highlight of her summer. After spontaneously volunteering to cut his hair the muggle way for him, the pair had just somehow clicked, and thus started spending more time together after that. It was unexpected, but it left them happy with each other's company - at least Tracey hoped it did for him.
Not wanting to put an end to their newfound closeness, it would only make sense for them to continue seeing each other within school grounds. Hence, Tracey was sitting on a bench, under the gigantic tree that stood in the middle of the courtyard, waiting for Stephen. She did feel a little bit nervous, as this would be the first time they would be publicly going around in such a very friendly fashion; not counting the house unity party she attended with him a few days ago (and no one from her house knew she had gone).
As she patiently waited, Tracey crossed her legs and began to read a book she had brought with her, while also munching on an apple, and taking moments to glance up to see if Stephen was anywhere in sight.
