Zacharias lifted the glass to his lips and took a small sip, turning his head to smile as he felt the kiss brushed to his shoulder. “Well, you supplied the location. The least I could do was bring the wine,” he said, taking another swallow before he leaned back until he was resting on his elbows.
His eyes skated around, taking in the Terrence, elegant and well set out as it was. “I think it’s fairly fantastic. Very classic with the proper hint of modernity – very you, really.” He tipped his head back for a moment, looking at the sky with a smile before his gaze returned to Jake.
“And how does it feel to be a proper home owner in your own right?” he asked. He was glad for Jake, because Jake seemed so pleased with it. Another sip of the wine and then he set the glass down, somewhere where he wouldn’t knock it over as he reached out to trace his fingertips idly along the side of Jake’s arm. The touch was lazy and without specific intent- he just wanted to touch him while they talked.
