Who:Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger When:August 12th, 1998. Evening Where:Hermione's parent's (and maybe somewhere else, not sure yet XD) What:Ron pops in to surprise Hermione Rating:TBD Lately it seemed like he had been so caught up in his own head, he didn't know which way was up anymore. Part of it was settling back into life. There were no more Death Eaters lurking around the corner, no more near death experiences or things to put their neck on the line for. At least for the time being, but that was the cynic and skeptic in him talking. Part of him worried that this wasn't all really over. Why would all the Death Eaters just step down? Just because Voldemort was gone didn't mean things were done. But it was when that thought was settling too heavily on his mind that he decided he needed some time away from all that, from sitting around at the Burrow with that to think about on top of everything else. Leaving the scribbled up bit of parchment at his desk (it had once said something along the lines of "Dear Minister of Magic along the top, but was otherwise illegible now, he left on the whim of wanting to get away, with only one person in his mind he wanted to see. He hadn't seen much of her since she had come back from Australia, since their awkward talk about their relationship. And then at Ginny's birthday. It was odd to say out loud, but he had realized it mostly went without saying.
Along the way he stopped in Diagon Alley where he bought a quill and parchment set with an elegantly decorated border before heading to Hermione's parents house. They had discussed his staying there in the days prior, but it just didn't seem to happen. Which he felt a little bad about, being so caught up in himself. They would be back soon though, so he figured they could at least enjoy whatever time they did have left. Sighing a bit, he reached out to knock on the door, standing back to wait.
