Who: Oriel Summerby and Terence Higgs. When: August 6th. Afternoon. Where: Diagon Alley. What: Random run-in of the literal manner. Rating: Low.
Oriel felt nervous about going to Diagon Alley, but he was determined not to let his nerves get the best of him. To hide from the world would just let the Death Eaters win. His mother had volunteered to come with him, but that seemed to be taking the easy route out, and so Oriel headed out by himself. He did choose Monday because it seemed like the day least likely to be busy.
He caught a cab from his Mum and Step-Dad's place to the Muggle London entrance of the Leaky Cauldron, and then headed through and out the other entrance into Diagon Alley. His eyes swept the alley, taking in the familiar shops that lined the way and the people walking about. And then he started to walk too.
Oriel was a fairly unassuming sort of person. On the shorter side, very slim, with a cap of dark hair and slim fit jeans and a t-shirt - nothing exciting. He moved quickly, and tried to avoid passing too closely to anyone. Which, while attempting to dodge a family with two bouncy children, was how he ended up accidently colliding right with another body.
As he often did when startled or nervous, he shot right into his first language - Irish Sign Language, which was the first thing he'd learned, even before he learned spoken English. His hands threw up and started moving in a flurry of apologetic signs, his bright blue eyes wide.
