All was not fucking well with Marcus Flint. Aside from feeling under the weather, he was a stressed man. Having to juggle two different jobs daily was getting to be too much for him. He thought he could do it, and he has survived 3 years doing it, but right now, on this particular day, he just lost it.
The goblins at the bank were beginning to have sticks up their arses, being cheeky little buggers to everyone. While the bar was indeed his escape for such a stiff bank job, the late nights, complete lack of sleep, and the high alcohol intake was too much for his body to handle. Not to mention smoking tobacco cigarettes were also part of his vices. So while all these were happening, he unfortunately chanced upon something on the journals that just did it for him. His girlfriend, Matilda Dukelow had gone off amusing herself with her ex-boyfriend Ben Fenwick about the most ridiculous things. A normal person would've just shrugged it off or let the petty thing go, but no, the drunk Marcus had to take it to heart and assume Matilda of essentially cheating on him.
This anger and drunk state was happening the entire time outside at the back of the Waning Wolf, with a bottle of vodka in his hands, a cigarette wedged in between his fingers, and his journal where he was angrily writing on it. It was perhaps a dumb thing to rant out on a journal, and perform a hex while smashed, resulting into a faulty one, but he needed to do something about it, otherwise he was just going to crack his head open.
As it was a faulty flickering privacy hex, Matilda saw everything, and everything just went downhill from there. Marcus verbally attacked the both of them, but he had hurt Matilda the most. He was was about to attempt at an apology to his girlfriend, when he felt his head spinning, his vision going dark, and next thing he knew, he passed out face first on the ground.
