Nate ran an assessing eye over the three girls again, trying to see if they'd been hurt. The only injury he could see was a scraped knee that Yvette was examining solemnly. Other than that, they looked okay. Luckily, everyone else in the garden had been far enough away that they were only surprised, and not affected in any way.
