Mission accomplished! Honestly, Gabe hadn't been expecting finally braving Williams to have been this hard. His plan had been to saunter into her office, put his feet up on her desk, and keep her off-balance for the duration of their mandatory conversation. Easy.
Except he'd nearly brained himself on her door, which had been locked, apparently because she wasn't in there. Instead, he'd had to follow tips from paintings, ghosts and the occasional suit of armour (strong and silent types, most of them) to hunt her through the corridors. Which made him wonder...
"Are you snooping?" he asked. Gabe had only got there a second and a half before Hayley rounded the corner, but that was enough to lean a shoulder against the wall, fold his arms across his chest, and adopt an exaggeratedly suspicious tilt to his head.
