The bizarre feeling of stretching returned, like his bones had been turned to taffy and were getting stretched out of place, longways and sideways and everyways, before everything snapped back into place and he was standing on the table.
"Huh? What huh? That was awesome," he said, jumping off the table.
He stumbled and fell as soon as he landed, his balance completely off. More worrying, though, was the fact that as he fell, something had fluttered. Something that, in the edges of his peripheral vision, had looked red and feathery.
