Hayley stepped aside so Spencer could climb out of the cupboard (classes were a fairly valid excuse, after all), which put her, coincidentally, right into William's path. She swiftly put a hand on his arm, just in case he was thinking about side-stepping her, which he probably was. "I have some more student interviews right now," she told Spencer, tightening her grip on William; experience had taught her that if she allowed him to get away now, it could be days before she managed to corner him again. "But are you free after dinner? I promise it will barely hurt." She smiled at him expectantly.
