Spencer watched William with a straight face, mouth quirking in the corners. "It does seem that way," he said carefully, leaning forward a little to press his eye against the crack in the door. Hayley was talking to Schechter, it looked like, waving one hand around enthusiastically.
"She's trying to lure you out," Spencer said, darting another glance at her before he straightened again, wincing when his head knocked against the corner of a shelf with a dull (hopefully soft) thud. He made a face -- reasonable as it seemed or not, he wasn't really looking forward to the counselling in itself.
"So," he said, after another moment of dark surveillance on William's part. "We're in the cupboard. What's part two of your brilliant plan for avoiding the Ministry Official?"
