Pete absently un-silenced William's wand (he'd worked hard on that, dammit), and then cast a noise dimming wand. Quieter was acceptable. Completely silent, not quite so much.
"I considered a car," he admitted, shrugging. "But I thought there were logistical problems. And it wouldn't be on theme. And I was a little concerned that people would do shameful things in the back of it, and then William's head would...explode."
He winced, a little, because the last thing they really needed to talk about was heads exploding.
