Mikey frowned as Adam didn't appear to take him equally seriously. That was something they were obviously going to have to work on. Maybe they could go team building. Adam could fall into Mikey's arms. Mikey could fall into Adam's. There would be seriousness for the taking. Maybe everybody could go team building. Mikey did like teams.
He bit down on his lip in case any of that accidentally spilled out in words and then looked round the door again. Coconuts, coconuts, leafy skirt, nice legs, inked skin, flower necklace thing, straightened hair - ahh. Pete? And beyond Pete, a hat that he recognised!
"I helped make that hat," he told Adam proudly. Then he realised Adam probably couldn't see because he and all his golden puffiness were standing in the way. He waddled sideways a little. "William is a famous Muggleman."
Beyond that he actually wasn't all that sure what was going on. But that was okay, Adam obviously knew. He did after all look very serious. He had a proper mask. He was hidden. Dashing. Like a dangerous rogue.
"Do we hide the alcohol?" he whispered, loudly. What was the etiquette on bringing alcohol to a party if you weren't giving it to the host? Who was the host?
