The coat was pretty ridiculously awesome. Spencer shrugged it on, twisting until it was comfortable, and then grinned at himself in the mirror, raising his eyebrows slightly at the drink Gerard shoved at him. He sipped cautiously but it was -- actually, not disgusting. A Halloween miracle.
"Uh, well," Spencer said, and wondered how to say I haven't worn it for years, but it played a large part in various school adventures, even though I still can't put it on myself. I know what ones to buy, though, and I know the extra special expensive type that gets you special Ryan Ross hugs, which, if you know Ryan Ross at all, are pretty hard to come by without sounding entirely insane.
"I'm not opposed," he settled on, leaning back against the counter, drink in hand and smiling. Gerard seemed to have the whole costume thing down to an art, anyway, and the coat was awesome, so Spencer didn't think that giving up any control he might have once held over the costume part of tonight would be by any means a bad thing.
"Have at it," he said, waving his hand in the vague direction of his face. "Just as long as I don't have to shave." He'd trimmed his beard the other day, anyway, he didn't think it would be a real problem. Maybe a little sparkly after tonight, but.
