William poked his head around the door frame cautiously before stepping delicately over the fallen door back into the classroom. "Is it safe now?" he asked, picking his way across to Gabe's desk. He slipped his hands into the pockets of his robe and added in amusement, "You certainly have them terrified, if not especially well-disciplined. I'll see you at dinner?"
It was even more tempting now to stick around, but this still wasn't exactly the definition of privacy. William followed the last of the horde out of the classroom before catching his fingers on the door frame and swinging back in just far enough to catch Gabe's eye.
