Mikey smiled in relief as Gerard agreed to the plan. He really hadn't been looking forward to solidifying each of the windows. Glass was trouble to work with at the best of times and getting it wrong after threatening entrapment so profoundly would've been pretty embarrassing.
Though on the other hand he had just agreed to head out in the zombie-ridden castle himself. Leaving Spencer and the others behind, asleep, no less. He sighed again, checking his pocket for his wand. Still there, which was comforting. He couldn't think of anything else that he might need. Gerard had most of their few healing supplies in his robes and carrying too much would just slow them down.
He stretched his legs out in front of him and turned to study the map that Gerard had scrawled while he waited for him to return. The only thing that seemed to be left was to ponder whether Gerard's broom would take them both or whether they should go by foot.
