"Hmm?" Gerard said, looking up from the sketch he'd done of the ground floor -- he couldn't decide whether it would be easier to slip into some of the West Wing rooms via window or go through the hallways on foot. But there were elves on the grounds that could possibly spot him in the air and start up a moanfest and totally fucking take away any element of surprise, and Gerard would have to go by foot anyway when he started picking up lost students. Still, broom would get him over to the West Wing faster, and then --
Mikey heaved a giant sigh and Gerard snapped his attention back to his brother's face. Mikey was glaring at him, the corners of his mouth turned down minutely.
"I was, uh, planning a route?" Gerard offered, raising a puzzled eyebrow and shoving the makeshift map in Mikey's direction. "I figure I'll hit the East Wing first," he said, leaning over and tracing a path with his index finger from room to room. "And then try to head over to the West Wing afterwards, depending on how long it takes to get the kids back here. And man, we really need to get in touch with the other professors. We should probably send out some patronuses before I go." He tried to stifle a yawn, feeling his jaw creaking slightly.
