Mikey gave himself one more minute to enjoy the mental image of Gerard flying through the air squawking and then went about working his way out of the sleeping bag as quietly as he could. He was halfway through gingerly easing the zip down when he realised a whispered Silencio would have saved him a lot of trouble. He chose to rack it up to his normal absent-mindness rather than fatigue and pushed the bag down off his legs without unzipping it further. Reaching for his boots and slipping them on, he looked around again, taking in the little huddled lumps of sleeping children everywhere.
They looked a pretty pathetic party altogether, spread out humbly on the floor as they were, and Mikey rubbed at his eyes and tried not to think on it too much.
Standing up with only a faint creak from his shoulders and a shy twinge from one knee, he cast a final glance at Spencer and then tucked his wand in his pocket and started to make his way over to their make-shift infirmary. As he passed the post by the Hall doors he caught Adam's eye and smiled wearily, jerking a thumb back towards his vacated sleeping bag. Adam's head turned in that direction and then he stood up with a slow nod of his head and started to make his way over.
Mikey watched him go for a moment and then turned back and pressed on until he was hovering behind Gerard and looking down at Eleanor - Ellie? Elsie? - and smiling his best smile.
"Hey," he said, softly. "How's it going over here? What's this I hear about the library?" If there had been news while he'd been sleeping he wanted to hear it.
