Mikey nodded along somewhat absently, his mind chewing on the details. They had a slighter bigger problem than niceties in that the wound was large and messy. Definitely not something they could simply slot a mouth over. "I think it's going to be too big for anything but a spell anyway," he said, feeding the owl a treat as he finally found a few in an inside pocket. "He says the sucking thing is to do with Acromantula and poisonous animals. I think it probably refers to small puncture wounds from fangs or teeth." Not their issue. Or not quite.
"As for the other half, I think he meant the students." He wondered whether any of them were really carrying stray bits of plants around in their pockets, the idea seemed a bit strange. Then he realised that that was exactly what he did with his scraps for transfiguring. He cleared his throat and made a note not to be so judgemental in the future. "We have an owl now though. We could probably get them to send us some from the tower if they haven't got any."
The owl was another issue. Did they keep hold of it or did William need it back? Who knew. For the meantime he gestured to one of the nearby children and passed it over. They didn't need it hanging around when they were examining an open wound. "Hey," he said to Adam. "Want to come cast the spell, then? I'll sit with him after and you can go ask the Ravenclaws for the vine." Offering up tasks was the only thing he could do for Adam right now.
