“Um.” Shane did not have a plan. He was moving with William now, the two elves he’d stunned already back on their feet and the four others turning the corner into the hallway.
Ideas flitted through his mind. He knew of a couple spells that may work to take out the group chasing them, but they were unpredictable and could take out Shane and William as well, or cause the roof to collapse. They weren’t worth the risk.
He didn’t know if fire would affect them. Stunners barely phased them. They wouldn’t have time to try out random spells till they got it right. “A distraction,” he said. It wasn’t ideal, but at least it might get the house elves off their tails. Shane needed to get to Brendon.
