He scrunched up his face at the baby and beamed when the kid laughed and waved a chubby fist in the air--though he did feel a bit bad William's hair was still attached. Then he registered Spencer saying something and realized he was in Great Hall and on the verge of playing peek-a-boo with an infant.
"Oh," he said, trying to arrange his face back into something resembling dignity and composure. It'd have been easier if the baby would stop giggling at his efforts. "Uh, actually, I've experienced no further sightings of any malicious phenomena, plant or otherwise."
