Gabe barely had the door half-open when his lynx went bounding in. For approximately one and a half bounds, when it stopped dead (or tried to, skidding a little with paws on bare stone until it rucked up a corner of the rug). Gabe closed the door behind him, and grinned at Adam and his furry companion; yeah, that was what he thought he'd seen briefly in the Great Hall. That had been what had reminded him to get back to this little project.
