Unravel it. Physically attacking it wouldn't be enough, not for something like this; they needed magic. "Dallon and I haven't wanted to mess with it without knowing what it did," William told Spencer. He couldn't offer conjecture regarding the rest of what Spencer had said: it was too horrible an idea, and too dangerous. If there was a spy...an enemy? A threat? A leftover from a war that had been fought and won? ...and it was someone they knew...it almost didn't bear thinking about.
"I know more than nearly anyone in this castle about bindrunes now," William contemplated aloud. "And I still have no idea how to unspell this."
Dallon might have the edge on him, since he'd started off ahead and William's attention had been split between this and researching the virus, and Ryan was obviously leagues ahead of both of them. William glanced sideways at Spencer. "Do you want to get Ryan?" he asked. "Maybe he would know something."
