Spencer's dream was nothing like Joe's had been. This felt sharper, more vivid, like William was experiencing a memory in a Pensieve or inhabiting someone else's body. It threw him, drowning him abruptly in the sights and sounds and emotions of Spencer's dreamworld. He recovered, though, determined even through the terrifying vision of the castle burning.
Spencer wasn't far - couldn't be, according to Joe - so William made his way over, hoping he could provide some sort of grounding support. "I'm here," he managed to say, concentrating hard to affect the dream they were both caught in. "Spencer. It's still a dream."
