William's mouth quirked into an answering smile. "Aren't we both too tired for that?" he asked rhetorically, freeing his pinkie finger from the light grip of the demidryad sapling.
"Somewhere close together," he suggested, because that was how Joe had done it, and William was following him as closely as possible. "Somewhere comfortable, if possible, so you might be able to sleep some." He didn't know how restful it would be, with the nightmare still looming, but Spencer deserved to at least lie down on a soft bed for a few minutes.
He was not particularly keen to offer, but: "We could go to my rooms, if you like. Or an empty suite. Or even here, if the door is locked."
