"Hmm. Orphaned children or indisposed adult." Patrick shrugged. "Same difference. And I'm not showing off, but I will admit it's pretty damn cool."
He then pointed his wand at a spot a little above Pete's hand and murmured the charm. That charm produced a small, glowing ball of fire, and Patrick smiled to himself as the watched it grow. It grew quick enough not to be a bore, but slow enough so that you could see it's progress in more than just a few blinks of an eye, and soon there was a sun about the size of a small plum hovering above Pete's hand.
