Joe settled opposite William, so their knees were about six inches apart. William's biggest problem, so far as Joe could tell, was his insistence to approach Dreamwalking the same way he approached the library. Academics could only get you so far in this field and all the reading and preparation in the world would never get you into someone's head until you let go.
"I actually had a thought," Joe said slowly, combing his fingers through his hair. "I think you're ready to actually move on and try some more practical stuff. So, how about this. I've found, when I was learning, that it was easier to Dreamwalk once someone had gone into my dreams."
