William took his accustomed place on the floor, settling into position with his legs crossed beneath him and his arms resting lightly on his knees. "I haven't practiced since Saturday," he admitted, privately ashamed at what a poor showing he was making as a student. "And my concentration is a bit shoddy. I don't want to waste your time. If you'd like, we can call it an early night and I can prepare more tomorrow." How much more, though, with a virus on the loose and students coming down ill every day, he wasn't certain. He hesitated, then admitted, "I'm afraid it's been something of a long day."
