Mikey stared at his hands clasped round his mug for a second. He'd never really considered how a different system might have affected his own time at school. From the way Spencer spoke it almost sounded like he would've preferred something less segregated.
"I always kind of liked the House thing," he admitted. "The way you end up with people older and younger than you, the way you know wherever you turn they're all like you." Mostly he was thinking of the common room all decked out after a Quidditch victory and everyone celebrating together. The weird feeling he still got in his chest when he saw red and gold together somewhere. He shrugged. "I'm a sap though."
