Adam just stared at him, blinking a couple of times. "That is so not the answer to the question I asked. I asked if you were okay," Adam said. He stood up and moved over to clean up the blood. He may have been terrible at Care of Magical Creatures, but dark creatures, and thereby werewolves - although, considering the advent of the wolfsbane potion, were they really that dark anymore? - were more toward his speciality.
"I wish you'd said something before I'd sliced myself open, though," Adam said, picking up the bowl quickly and murmuring a cleansing spell. It was easy, thoughtless, and he was pleased. Mentally, he thanked the Baron. "You could've, I don't know, stepped out of the room and come back. But then you wouldn't have gotten to see. But you saw all the important bits anyway. Ahh, shit. I'm sorry." He got the bowl put away and started cleaning up the rest of the mess, taking pains to wrap up the knife to prevent future injury.
