"Thanks," Adam said, his mouth twitching up a little on the side. "I really appreciate it. I mean, that you're going to make sure it gets fixed. I'd be a really unhappy person if I don't get to see my family again."
Adam stood there awkwardly as Gerard explained, knowing that everyone was watching him. "Uh, thanks man. I mean, at least for." He bobbed his head a little bit, trying to indicate various things Gerard had hooked him up with in the course of their walk from Adam's office to the infirmary. He made vague hug-y motions before standing down. He didn't really want to chance giving whatever this was to Gerard, though they'd been in close proximity for long enough that it was probably too late for that. "If you hear screaming for help, it's because the kids are torturing me."
