"Yeah, no. It's been five years because it's crap. Every time I send it in, Ed sends it back and is like, yeah, you can't write about some of that in a paper like this," Adam explained. "Then I sulk for a month and don't look at it, until Ed owl's me and is like, dude, are you working on that shit? They're all out to get me."
"It's amazing. Patrick nearly caused me to fall out my office window the other day. He didn't knock, and he could've been anyone," Adam said, flailing his hand around a little. He was getting talkative. He got a little flaily with his hands when he was talkative.
Adam held still for a moment while Gerard worked some magic. It was nice, because Gerard used a spell that Adam hadn't really thought of using for the purpose, but he knew he was going to write it down to use in the future, because it was a really excellent idea, maybe better than the charm that he normally used. "You're great. Except for the part where you're locking me in the infirmary. Otherwise, totally awesome."
