"This morning," Adam said, settling into one of the other armchairs in the room, curling his feet up underneath him. He had the fleeting thought that he should probably be more decorous than curling up and making himself at home, but whatever. He wasn't well, and Gerard was certainly already aware of that fact.
"I slept absolutely not at all last night, for some ungodly reason," Adam said, waving the thought off with his hand. "I just need to get some sleep, probably. It's not like I've got the flu or anything like that." Too easily curable for people who knew enough about potions. Or people who had magic, which Adam currently didn't. He needed a blanket. He unfolded and shuffled over to a chest in the corner to rummage for one. "I'd offer you... tea, I guess, but I haven't got any made. Despite this not actually being a social call."
