William slid his hand up slightly, kneading the back of Spencer's neck through his collar. They'd known each other for years now, since their school days when Spencer had spent half his time living in William's common room; he thought the familiarity would probably be allowed.
"You should talk to Gabe," he murmured, worried in spite of Spencer's casual attitude. Even if it was nothing more menacing than a streak of nightmares, Spencer clearly couldn't go on like this. "Will you take a sleeping potion? If he gives you one?"
