THE MASKED SINGER - FINALE!

[info]sweet_bea
[info]freedomtownic
Rather than the usual video clips, the finale/elimination show instead opened cold, to a shot of the stage, one spotlight shining down on Rachelle Martin-Bale and her band, A Woman Scorned, who opened the big finale with a cover song of their own: a haunting rendition of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle".

When the performance ended, the view cut to the host of the show, Princess Bea Wilson. Wearing a long blood-red dress, slit up to the thigh, and with her blonde hair curled into a Marilyn Monroe-esque style, she pursed her red lips to the camera, blowing a kiss to the viewers.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to the final episode of The Masked Singer - Galador! First, let's hear it for A Woman Scorned! Rachelle will be back in a bit with the other judges."

"Before we get to anything else, I want to take a moment to tell all of you: the viewers, the talent, the producers, ALL of you - thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my cynical, sarcastic, oversexed heart for letting me be a part of this. I had a blast, through all 17 years, 4 months, and 13 days of it."

She turned towards the audience, waving to them with a cheesy grin.

"We've seen some surprises, we've seen some obvious guesses... but one thing that's been consistent is the quality. Every performer that's had the guts to put on a ridiculous costume and sing their heart out for us has kicked ass, and we owe all of them a round of applause."

"Now... let's get to the reason you're all tuning in tonight: the unmaskings, and finding out who is the winner of The Masked Singer!"

The Masked Singer - FINALE!

[info]sweet_bea
[info]freedomtownic
Instead of the normal opening montage, the show opened cold, a single spotlight shining down on the deceptively angelic face of Bea Wilson, dressed in a long black ballgown, smiling as she walked over to the microphone.

"For what very well might be the last year or two, we've been whittling away, week by week, singer by singer. Testing everything from the creativity of the performers to my ability to think of new and more offensive jokes to make each week."

"But now... after all this time (seriously, I'm pretty sure I'm heading for my 40th birthday soon...), we're down to the nitty gritty. The Final Six."

"We have The Mouse. Somehow managing to transform from someone who barely squeaked by (see what I did there?) in the first round, to someone who's become seemingly unstoppable. We have The Astronaut. Cool, cocky, charming, and possibly the overall favorite to win. We have The Wolf. A classic tale of regret, broken hearts, and ultimately, redemption. We have The Robot. A performer who skimmed through each round almost unnoticed, until making a huge impression in the final lap of the race. We have The Poodle. The ultimate underdog, who fully expected to not even be here this week. And we have The Unicorn. The vocal powerhouse who's desire to win is almost palpable."

"Each of these six have entertained you. Made you laugh. Made you cry. And while we've all watched personal favorites go home (Lita! Dash! HOLLA!), there's no denying that each performer in the finals deserves to be here."

"Give it up for the four judges who've kept us entertained (and in my case, turned on) through this entire thing. Full Moon Entertainment Executive Skylar Bale, Princess and all-around hot piece of ass Tea Marveli-Wilson, and Echidna recording artists Rachelle Martin-Bale and Sophia Bo Wilson!"

It was time for the pre show to start. Like it did every Monday night, this time was used to get the audience members excited. The lights went down. On the floor there were glowing words on the floor. The sound of stiletto's could be heard making their way from backstage to the the judges apex.

Out of the darkness, came Faith's voice, "Say I am wonderful." Then the music began as the house lights came on you could see Faith in front on the judges. She had on a purple dress hugging her tightly.

On the stage there were about 24 manikins in differing positions. Faith started singing "Say I am Wonderful," Four of the manikins began to dance from the stage to the audience. Every time the catch phrase, "Say," started Faith held the mic up to the crowd. they sang enthusiastically.

At the first chorus, the masks came out singing to the song. Weaving their way through the plastic people. At the end, the Masks yelled out, I am wonderful.

The lights flickered letting the audience know it was time for the show to start.

The Masks stood side by side. As the familiar, 'Who Are You,'played.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen," Faith said enthusiastically, "Welcome to the Masked Singer, Galador style." The crowd clapped.

A group of black leotard gentleman, appeared on stage to take the manikins off stage.

"My dear friends, we've earned $17,988 for the Group Home. Give yourselves a hand." As they applauded, Faith walked down from the Apex to stand next to the Masks. This is the last group before the semifinals.Taco. Poodle, Panda and Unicorn will sing tonight for their lives. "Now let's have a hand for the beautiful Bea Wilson.

The Masks all skipped into the room with the famous song now identified with the Masked Singer. First came the Butterfly, next the Skeleton came on then the Astronaut and finally the Mouse.

The entire audience had glow sticks they used to light up the dark house. 'Who are You,' played in the background.

"Welcome Galador," the audience went wild making sounds and playing with their glow sticks. She stepped over to the line of unmasked singers. "Let's have a round of applause for those who have gone before," she said as her hand lay on each costume for a minute until she went to the next mask.

"Now let's have a hand for our judges," she said as the spotlight hit each one in turn.

"The money you pay to vote, goes to the clients of the Group Home. We are now up to $17,000. I can't tell you how much this will mean to them. So when they ask if you want to give more, answer Yes, even if it's just a dollar, every dollar helps."

"Now I'd like to introduce our wonderful hostess, who I might add looks absolutely fabulous. Let's give it up for Bea Wilson, who is doing an amazing job as hostess."

Group D Round Two

[info]dirty_girl
[info]freedomtownic
The house was dark as midnight. On four of the giant masks you can barely distinguish Miss Monster, The Wolf, The Bear and The Robot's outlines. The beginnings of a song could be heard, the guitar playing the introduction.

Then one voice could be heard, singing The Late Goodbye by Poets of the Fall
In our headlights, staring, bleak, beer cans, deer's eyes
On the asphalt underneath, our crushed plans and my lies
Lonely street signs, power lines, they keep on flashing, flashing by (flashing)

As Lonely street signs, Miss Monsters picture on her large mask lightened, on power lines The Bear's picture did the same as Miss Monster's. On the words flashing, the Wolf could be seen, on the next flashing the fourth and final mask, the Robot could be seen. In unison the all stepped forward from the masks to encircle Faith, singing the chorus together.

And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye, such a late goodbye
And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye

The four Masks sang the chorus by themselves

Your breath hot upon my cheek, and we crossed, that line
You made me strong when I was feeling weak, and we crossed, that one time
Screaming stop signs, staring wild eyes, keep on flashing, flashing by (flashing)

They all sang the chorus as the Masks lined up across the stage.

And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye, such a late goodbye
And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye

Then Faith sang the last line as she wove her way through through the Masks until she is in the center of the stage.

The devil grins from ear to ear when he sees the hand he's dealt us
Points at your flaming… all the lights went out and there was silence until the crowd started cheering for their favorite masks.

Together they all sang 'Who Are You,'while the spot light moved from one Mask too another.

"Thank you Galador and welcome to this week's version of The Masked Singer. How are you doing tonight?" The crowd went crazy stomping, clapping and singing. The electricity in the room was off the charts.

"I'm Faith Lehane, Chairperson of this event." Looking out into the audience, she saw Dawn and Finn, she waved at them. The spotlight went to shine on them. Faith tugged her ear for Jenny and Giles.

"Tonight you will be voting for the unmasking of two Masks. Remember all of our money goes to the Group Home. As of tonight, we've raised $15,000 and change. That's great so far. Those of you with corporate business we challenge you to pledge $1,000.00 each."

"Now for our hostess, what can I tell you about Bea Wilson that you don't already know? She has a wonderful heart. Come on out, Bea."

"While it's difficult to unmask one Masked Singer, two is almost impossible. The votes were very tight this time,"Faith said a smile on her face, as the Masks marched on stage.

"Everyone has done such a wonderful job. The two this week who will take if off are" she paused for dramatic effect ... the Kangaroo and the Fox!"

The entire audience started saying, take it off! The audience went wild hollering for the Kangaroo and the Fox to 'take it off.'

As the audience filled up the auditorium the music 'This Is Me' filled up the room. As soon as it was over, 'Who Are You,' began with The Panda,The Unicorn, The Kitty and The Swan dancing out on stage to the beat of the music.

In the background, the unmasked costumes stood silently overseeing everything, like statues saluting royalty. Faith walked out in a red body hugging number that accentuated every curve and showed off her back. Faith walked to the center of the stage as the panda, unicorn, kitty and swan walked to the four edges of the stage, cameras picking them up displaying them on the massive screens as they had so many times before.

"Good evening, ladies and gentleman, welcome to the Masked Singer Galador style," the audience began hooting, some took up the mantra of their favorite singer, while others just clapped.

"So far we've raised $15,000.00 dollars. I'd like to put out a dare to all the companies out there that they donate a thousand dollars each, if that is to high any amount would be just great," she said enthusiastically. "All the money goes to the group home."

"You know what time it is," Faith began, winking at the camera, "it's time to welcome our host. She's done one hell of a job. Ladies and Gentlemen let's welcome Bea Wilson."

All the contestants projected some visual form of nervousness as Faith asked the audience to give a hand for all of the Masks. Differing parts of the crowd did the hand signal used for each Mask. The audience swelled.

"When we get down to four Masks two of them are unmasked," Faith explained as the audience began a low chant for their favorites. "This week, in alphabetical order: the Lady Bug and the Rubber Duck, now it's time to 'Take it off.'"

The audience changed their mantra to the familiar, "Take It Off."

Men and women in black suits and ties, wore sunglasses as they escorted the Taco, the Kangaroo, the Fox and the Poodle to their places on stage. The familiar, 'Who Are You,' played as they paraded onto the stage. Once the Masks took their places, the escorts walked off into the crowd, high-fiving everyone they came in contact.

Then familiar cords started playing, the Masks were dancing, the crowd started singing with the Masks.

At times the Masks did a solo while the audience sang to every bit of it.
As each one sang, audience members put up signs that said, 'Team Taco, Team Kangaroo, Team Fox and Team Poodle. The backup dancers got the audience clapping. Four of the six massive screens, you could see a Mask prancing and singing. It was a carefree night. At the rifts, the dancers chose a Mask Singer to dance around.

Then a familiar voice started Singing Sweet Home Alabama, where the skies are so blue. Sweet Home Alabama, Lord I'm coming home to you. As the song trailed off, Faith walked downstage to Bea's spotlight. Faith was in, a dark as the sky blue, evening dress, cut high on the left leg. It looked as if it had been made for her, it fit her like a glove, showing off all of Faith's asserts.

Suddenly the lights went out only for the Unmasked costumes to light up. "Let's give a round of applause for those who have been unmasked. As soon as the Rabbit's costume was lit, it was time to welcome the returning Masks.

"Welcome the Taco, the Kangaroo, the Fox and the Poodle," Faith said as she twirled around in her dress. She blew a kiss to Finn, then pulled on her ear, Carol Burnett style.

"The pressure is on ladies and gentlemen, two masks will be unmasked this evening." Behind her on the six screens, the tally of the money they'd raised flashed. They were up to $13,196. "Look at the totals board, thank you all for being so generous. Let's see if we can make $25,000. Some of the business I know could pledge $1,000.00 each."

Faith pointed up to the judges tier, "Let's have a round of applause for our judges. They do the hard stuff," she said giggling.

"Our lovely host needs no introduction, let's bringing on Bea. Welcome to Galador's Masked Singer and our beautiful moderator."

"Starting next week, with Group A, two people will be unmasked. Group A will also have one extra round of a two mask elimination. (There are six people in Group A while every other group has four."

The crowd had difficulty calming down, it was now round two. The house lights were dimmed. Who Are You, came on as the Masked Singers marched out in line. They were standing in a row. First was the Mouse, then the Rubber Duck, and the Skeleton. On the other side the Ladybug, the Butterfly and the Astronaut.

Guitar music started the intro. Together all the Masks started singing.

Immediately the crowd started clapping making the hand signs for different Masks as they left in single file off the left side of the stage. Faith entered the way the Masks were leaving, She gave each on a high five as she passed them.

"Let's give it up for the Mouse, the Rubber Duck, the Skeleton, the Ladybug, the Butterfly and the Astronaut.

Faith stopped upstage at the line up of costumes those who'd been unmasked were wearing. Let's think a minute about those who have been unmasked. As Faith walked over to the Frog costume she said, "You'll remember in our first round Dash Hosney was a terrific contestant, but he had to bow out. For all of you wondering how he is doing he's on the mend and back to the same Dash you all know and love. The crowd went wild clapping.

As you know, we are raising money for the Group Home. We've reached $10,036.37. "I'll bet you we raise a lot more tonight, you can do it Galador." she said enthusiastically. "I'm proud of those of you who have reached deep into their pockets to help out," she started clapping for the citizens of Galador, the audience followed suit.

"Thank you judges for all your hard work, I know it isn't easy," she said blowing kisses to the judges. Tonight, we will be eliminating two masks.

"It's about that time, time to be wowed and amazed by our hostess, Bea Wilson."

The house lights dimmed, a familiar voice in the darkness cut through the inky blackness like a knife through butter. "Welcome Glador to our own Masked Singer. A spot light hit Faith, then a spotlight turned on each of the empty costumes, starting with The Frog, The Rose, The White Tiger and The Octopus. "Let's give a round of applause of the Unmasked Singers," Faith encouraged the audience.

Tonight Faith wore a ratherBohemian Outfit. The smokey eyes gave Faith more of an exotic look making her look more like her Albanian roots than her American. This look accentuated her beauty.

"Tonight, I'd like to welcome Miss Monster, Rabbit, Wolf, Lion, Bear and Robot to the stage, " As their names were called each one in turn took to the stage like a contestant in a Miss America pageant. When Miss Monster took the stage, one of the gigantic masks turned on. The same thing repeated with each human mask, showcasing the singers. Except this time there were six ginormous plastic masks instead of just four. As the Masked Singers walked by, the audience yelled out their names. Tonight the audience was beyond excited.

"Last Monday we raised over $1,200.00 for a total of $8,700. Let's see if we can do better this week. Remember all of the money, every cent goes to the Group Home."

"Now I'd like to introduce to you the infamous, wonderful Bea Wilson." The audience took to their feet cheering. The spot light next to Faith came on as Bea gracefully flowed to her place next to Faith. Catcalls and whistles came from the audience as they took in the two beautiful women. The Slayer tugged on her ear as a shout out to her loved ones.

She couldn't wait to see Finn.

"Our Masked Singers this week are: Flamingo, Panda, Unicorn, Kitty, White Tiger and the Swan." Faith's voice broke through the eerie blackness.

From the darkness, there came a "Who are you, who, who, who who. The audience chimed in, still in the inky blackness. Faith sang out loud and strong. Four ginormous outlined in purple masks lit the stage. Each mask as big as King Kong. The massive masks started flashing, then the lights changed to a marque style.

The main reflector zoomed in a Faith, in a chocolate jumpsuit that hugged her curves, as she sang the final, " Oh, who the (bleep) are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)" Standing on their feet the crowd was on an excitement high, clapping and cheering. On the last who's, the gigantic masks turned solid purple. The floodlights followed the back up dancers who were in the apex with the judges, twirling them, then waist bumping. As the judges were lit, the crowd started yelling to them.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome," Faith began. Singing made her happy and at this moment she was very happy. She did the tug on the ear trick made famous by Carol Burnett as a shout out to Giles, Jenny, Dawn and Finn.

"Good evening," she began as the dancers made their way to back stage. On the far left side, you could see the Frog Costume displayed, to the far right the Rose. The massive masks on the edges of the stage turned to black with a purple outline.

"I'm still Faith Lehane and this is the Masked Singer Galador style. If you missed last week," she began, waving at the youngster on the first row waving at her, "you missed some fine performances. Thank you to all the masks performing tonight. Let's give thanks to Queen Shiklah, for hosting this program in her brand new state-of-the art facility."

"Last Monday, we raised $5,000.00 making our grand total $7,500.00. Thank you for your kind generosity as all proceeds go to the Group Home. Let's see if we can continue that streak."

"Now, I'd like to introduce, the girl who causes more wet dreams," Faith practiced saying it but still she blushed, "than McDonalds' serves hamburgers, give it up for the beautiful bombshell," before she could even get the name out the audience went wild, the second she started to say the name, the house lights all came up, "Bea Wilson, ladies and gentlemen."

"Hello Galador," Faith said into the microphone, as the house lights brightened the cheering began. The audience began singing, Who are you. In one hand she had a hand held black and purple mask the other the microphone. As the music hit it's crescendo, Faith dramatically pulled the long stem of the mask away revealing herself.

Characters also dressed in black came down the isles dancing with the audience. The audience was on their feet clamoring for more.

"Good evening, I'm Faith Lehane, Chairperson of this event. Thanks to your generous giving we raised $2,500.00. Let's try and double that tonight. Everything raised goes to the Group Home. I'd like to thank Eliza Hamilton for being a liaison to our Masked Singer."

Music changed as each Mask Singer came on the stage, one at a time. Cameramen and women videoed each entrance. The feed projected on the black panels hanging around the room.

The back up dancers, came to a halt, walking up on stage to surround Faith. She looked into the audience saw Finn and blew him a kiss.

"Without further ado, let's meet the hostess with the mostess, and my new best friend Bea Wilson. Give her a hand for the wonderful job she's doing."

The stage was black, but suddenly a spotlight turned on to Queen Shiklah standing center stage, in a black leather dress, hair pulled back, and her hands crossed in front of her arms clasped together.

"From now on, Bea will be standing here, but tonight I wanted to step in and announce the elimination." Her hands moved as she spoke, "Due to some heath issues one of our contestant found himself in the hospital and has to pull from the show."

Her hand waved at the screen behind her as The Frog number from last week played, "We are sad to see him go, but his health comes first." The scene changed to a picture of Dash, a few candid ones behind the scenes. "Dash Hosney, formally known as the Frog, will be our elimination for tonight."

Shiklah looked the camera blew a kiss to it, "We here at Mask Singer are sad to see him go, but wish him the speediest of recovery."

Masked Singer Group A

[info]dirty_girl
[info]freedomtownic
Audience members hushed as soon as the lights dimmed. Darker than the belly of the Whale, one could almost cut the inky blackness with a knife.

It was felt in the feet first, a shaking. The shaking increased in tone, the familiar phrase Who are you, who, who, who, who was barely heard as the audience stood up one their feet, clapping. Who Are You Happy attendees started singing along. Slowly, the house lights started to brighten.

Sally Levinson, Barron Gibbler, Kylie Peterson-Marcus and Matt Duquette came out on stage, dancing. They were so precise in each step. Each one wore a black mask with black leotards. They moved effortlessly, making a circle.

Large paneled screens flashed each mask in turn filling up the screens. The crowd went wild clapping trying to convince the beautiful host to appear.

In the center of the circle the spot light turned on revealing the beautiful host, Bea Wilson. The lights made love to Bea. At this time the music climaxed. There was an electricity in the room, a feeding the frenzy that was The Masked Singer.

Sandra Stark and Jimmy Gibbler were running the backstage, the light board and special effects. Hitting all their cues easily.

Above everyone was the judges station. Queen Shiklah, Sobo, Skylar, Rachelle and Princess Tea were on their feet clapping for Bea.

Suddenly, everything got quiet as the audience waited.
