As per usual, we're going to do Thanksgiving at the Crashdown. Instead of me deciding on the menu, though, we're doing something different this year.

A pot lock.

Everyone bring something to share with the group. It doesn't matter if it's homemade or store bought. Just state what you're going to bring so we don't have a lot of the same thing.

I assume that most of you will be coming but I would still like a head count because there are so many of us. So whether or not you plan on bringing something, please let me know if you'll be attending if you're going to be bringing a plus one*.

[*I didn't included extended family in this so the post wouldn't get too crazy. Your character can invite their SO and any one else in a post of their own :)]

I don't know about you guys, but I feel the need to go help Monstopolis tomorrow. Who's with me?

Isabel is always telling me the Crashdown needs to get with the times so I am happy to announce that for a limited time, you can enjoy some Pumpkin Spice flavored coffee and pumpkin flavored pancakes.

We have also added pumpkin and apple pie back to the menu until December. Come get your fall flavored food while you can!

I'd like to talk to you guys for a minute.

Max and Liz's anniversary is coming up soon. I'm not one for sentiments but after everything we've been through, 18 years as a married couple deserves celebrating. What do you guys say?

Isabel, do your party thing.
Maria and Serena, take Liz to a movie or something that day.
Michael and Alex, you go do something with Max.
Whitney and Noah, How about babysitting for them?

And you guys know how the rest works. It's a surprise party, after all.

It should be at the Crashdown sometime after it closes, obviously. Next Friday? Saturday? Whatever works better. I'll leave that up to the boss lady party planner.

And that's where my involvement in planning ends. GO TEAM GO.

I can't believe it! The Crashdown is here. The key was right there waiting for me under where we've always kept it. It looks just like it did the last time I saw it. Talk about nostalgia!

Next week, I'd like to have a grand opening. I will post the menu just before it happens so everyone can get a taste of what the Crashdwon has to offer.
