First semester is almost over. I know most people don't enjoy the academics during the summer, that's why second semester classes contain mostly non-academic classes.

This year we are opening all the day classes to any student, not just those who attend all year long. Classes start Monday.

Here are the following classes you may chose from:
Musical Theater
Fencing
Photography
Pin hole Photography
Horse-back riding (with a competition at the end.)
Archery
Cooking
Life-skills
Basic Carpentry Skills
Powers Training
Art for beginners
Dance classes

For those staying on campus but not attending classes, we hope you have a great rest of the summer.

On July 4, we are having a big cookout with fireworks. I hope to see you there.

My secretary, Ginni is off second semester. I could use help from students willing to help out. Light filing, copying and other administrative duties will be required.

University students, the same classes will be offered to you. The only joint activity between the two campuses will be Horseback riding. The competition part is voluntary.

Have a great summer everyone.

I just left the Welcome Center and I am on my way to Chicago to my new home. Apparently my daughter lives there.

Hey world, I'm Joey Jeremiah, all the way from Toronto and Calgary, Canada that is. I owned a vintage car dealership there, and I am wondering if there are any jobs like that here?

Ang, if you see this, I am on my way to you, sweetheart.

Who: Leo and Open
What: Arrival
When: Today
Where: Outside the Welcome Center

Leo walks out of the Welcome Center, after getting his orientation or whatever that was, and with his hands in his pocket, he finds his motorcycle keys. Sweet. He looks around outside to find that his red bike did in fact arrive with him, or maybe after him, but who cared because he hopped on his bike, and looked around him. It actually was pretty nice here. He couldn't help but wonder if he would be able to ride right to Rome. Was Italy even on this planet? He wasn't quite sure how that all worked yet. For now, he just sat staring off into space, enjoying the cool air, feeling healthier than he had felt in a long time, and just lounging on his bike. His thoughts flew to April, his wife, wondering if she would end up here with him, too. Would she be healthy here? Or would her relapse still have happened here? Only time would tell if she even arrived here at all.

Alex wasn't sure what he'd been expecting when he arrived at the school. He was hoping to find Jean to talk to her in person about what she expected from him. He also hoped to see his old friend Charles.

He looked a little like he felt when he'd taken Scott to the mansion before he had turned up there. Which made him sad, his brother wasn't there with him. Which set other feelings off and no, he wasn't going down that road right then. He pushed it all away and started exploring.

But he's trying. He also is a mixture of confused and annoyed. But at least his powers are under control for now. He's muttering mostly to himself rather than to anyone that could be listening.]

On the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning main campus is a park. We are setting up screens for a movie night. This Saturday night and next Saturday night it's open to all Galadorians.

I finally got the film, 'To Kill A Mockingbird,'one of the books are students read first semester. Gregory Peck was wonderful. It is a black and white movie, but well worth it.

I apologize for the late notice, that's why I'm showing it twice,

Snacks will be available for a nominal fee, which will start our Christmas fund for our charity of choice.

Hope to see you there.

May I ask a favor?

Students and Faculty of the Jean Grey School for higher learning and the Charles Xavier University;with a BCC copy to Lux:
I'm giving you enough warning, so everyone should be able to participate in our Saint Patrick's Day festivities on Tuesday, March 17.

Everyone should wear green. (There will me no pinching of people not wearing green. The tradition is to wear green from top of your head and your shoes. Almost everything edible in the cafeteria will be green. From green milkshakes to green pasta, even green eggs and ham, we've got it all.

After breakfast, we will go to the front of the Methodist Church to line up for the St. Patty's Day Parade.

After lunch, we tentatively have a pot-of-gold game.

Dinner then a movie. The younger students will watch The Gnome Mobile. There will be a variety of movies to chose from for the upper school and University students. I'd love a peak at what you choose as your costume or green clothing for the day.

Dress accordingly.

If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Who: Jean and Merlin
What: A Valentines date on Saturday
Where: Who knows where Merlin will take her
When: 11:00 a.m.
Rating: R
Warning: Sexual Content

Jean Grey was married to her work, always putting her students always letting her wants and needs take a back seat to the needs of her students.

She'd spent last night with Charles, they were boycotting Valentines Day. It was the first time they'd taken time out of their busy schedules to talk. It was a good talk lasting well into the wee hours of the morning.

Before she could meet with Charles, Merlin contacted her asking her to lunch, she agreed. He told her she was beautiful, kind words touching her heart.

When she arrived home she found a box wrapped in red by her bedside. There was a heart on it with a note. He simply pinned, Happy Valentines Day, Merlin.

Inside was a single red rose, a box of chocolates and a key with a note attached. When you are ready for our date, simply press this key to a door, and magic will happen.

Jean went to bed that night with a smile on her face.

Excited she was up early. She did the usual things a woman does before a date. When she was ready, she pressed the key.

So I spent most of the night chatting with a couple of people from the welcome center. I learned that this world is basically a "what if..." version of where I'm from. I don't have to hide that I'm a mutant here, which is a great relief. Humans had a real stronghold on us back home. They say that they are fairly sure that there are a couple of kids from my world here, but I don't recognize the names. Doesn't surprise me, though. We probably had completely different walks of life.

Anyway, I'm Melody and I think that I'm going to be living in Providence. It's just a matter of getting settled in.

The first week of school has gone very well. I'm so glad we started at the zoo. So many unusual animals from around the universe. I think all our students enjoyed it, except the part where the paper is due for English.

This year we are trying an experiment by having all the High School students read the same book for English and the University students reading the same book. This is to promote a dialogue between students and grades, giving the ninth graders the opportunity to participate with the seniors. If this works we'll do it next semester.

The high school students will be reading To 'Kill A Mockingbird'. While the University students will read 'The Art of War'.

We are making plans for the winter break for those students who will be staying on campus. Would you prefer to just have the time off, should we offer classes or do you have another idea.

To all high school students in all schools Mark September 21 on your calendar for the united school dance at Hogwarts. This year's theme will be United.

I've given up hope that Scott will every come. I find myself rather lonely. All I do is work. I like to think we have a better school because of it. I find myself attracted to Charles. Is that wrong?
