So, I was watching the news earlier, and WOW are we living in a fucked-up time, people.

Apparently, earlier today, a man carrying a high-powered sniper rifle and four semi-automatic handguns walked right in the front doors of a major tobacco corporation that had been being not-so-secretly funded by money brought in via sex trafficking and illegal narcotics, and walked through the building shooting every single person that had slipped through the cracks of the legal system.

Final body count: 26 dead, 12 injured badly. What a world, huh?

ON AN ENTIRELY AND COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE, my good buddy Frank Castle is gonna be laying low up here with us for a while. So make the big lug feel welcome!

Okay. This might seem a little bit weird to ask, but I have to. And normally, I'm definitely not this awkward about it.

I need a sex partner. Or two. Or three. Really, numbers don't matter, I just need someone I can have casual, no strings attached sex with on a regular basis.

The sight of Deadpool and Luke Cage standing together, preparing for combat, would usually be a hell of a sight. Two seasoned warriors, two of the toughest men alive, and two men who've proven to be damn-near unkillable.

Again... it would USUALLY be a hell of a sight. If, you know, Deadpool wasn't standing there in full costume but wearing Rambo gear, complete with headband, bandoleer, and big-ass knife.

"ALLLLLLRIGHT everyone! We're gonna beat some ass here today. Not in the sexy Fifty Shades way either. I'm talking some legit ass-whoopin'. Me and my partner Luke here..."

Cage interupted him: "We're not partners, Wilson."

"CORRECTION. Me and my good friend Luke here..."

So, I just had some stuff sent up from home. Right before we came up here, I completed a job that got me a LOT of cashola, but I had to wait for the funds to appear in my account. Well, since they finally did, I decided to be a DARLING and splurge for stuff for some of my pals.

Terry, you'll find your very own 3DS and some games in your room when you get back. No girl of mine isn't gonna have her own Pokemon games, nosiree.

For my boy P-Quill, I got you an iPod stocked up with new music. God knows you need it.

Wanda, my hot widdle female me, I got you a brand-spanking new pair of katanas. Not literally though. No spanking for us.

TITO! My man! You're now in posession of a prototypew hoverboard, like in Back To The Future! AWWWYEAH.

To alllll The Avengers (since I'm angling at being one of you... holla!), I got you all some awesome Beats By Dre headphones. Except Wasp, because she already got Beats By Pym. Kidding, there's some for her too.

And to all the other refugees, I had what I call "comfort packs" sent up for ya. Box full of various foods, snacks, and Kindles full of books to get you through some of the more boring or stressful days. Because I care.
