Victoria had arrived her, unexpectedly some weeks ago. It might not have been the best of places but given the alternative was to be dead, she wasn't going to complain. Ever. To have this second chance at life was something she didn't expect. Despite that, she wished there were some things that were different. There were a couple of people that she was glad that were here, that she somewhat trusted, but it was no one that she was particular close too. Still, she supposed it was better than having no one to trust in this scenario. She would have preferred to have her chosen family here, especially Izzy. There was so much that the two of them should have discussed, so many regrets on her part and now she doubted she would ever get the opportunity to work through them.
So she buried herself in work, investigating this place, despite being given a run down by May when she arrived. She had appreciated the information but wanted to confirm for herself. Then the children disappeared. Or at least some of them. She had experienced a lot of unusual things in her life while working with SHIELD but there had been nothing like this. So she had returned to the park where she had arrived to see what she could find.
Even if she could find that talking dog again, she might be able to discover some much desired information.
Except she had yet to find anything or anyone and she'd spent enough time wondering around the park talking to people and trying to see what she could discover. She wished she had some instruments available that woudl allow her to take readings, especially as someone appeared or disappeared but at the moment she didn't have that sort of equipment on hand.
Turning the corner around a bush, she stopped in her tracks. There, standing in front of her was Isabelle looking right at her. She instantly new that it wasn't one of those doppelgangers that appeared here - she was forever grateful that Iz hadn't had one, she wasn't sure what she would do - but Iz, her girlfriend. "Izzy?" she asked slowly staring at her love.
