Who: Mitch and Greta When: Tuesday night Where: Park What: Mitch goes to Greta Why: It’s their arrival Status: Complete Ratings: Low
Greta was still trying to wrap her head around what was happening. One minute she was in Paris and the next, she was in space before a talking dog. The only good thing was Mitch was here with her. Blonde hair was tied back in a ponytail as usual as her arms came around her waist to keep herself sheltered in a way.
From what she had gathered on the net, a lot of people were suddenly showing up here daily it seemed and so far a lot of others informed them of no way of returning home. Which was a bit unsettling as well as comforting to Greta. Sure, it meant they wouldn’t be able to go home anytime soon, but on the bright side. No one was trying to kill Mitch.
So, for now, she waited for him to come and find her.

None of this should be happening. It didn’t seem real enough. Talking dogs and planets that he had never heard of and coming from two different points in his and Greta’s lives seems like something that fits a sci-fi movie or book. Not real life. And yet, here they were living it.
After his last message to Greta, he had turned and headed back towards the park pretty quickly. He wanted to get to her. Not only to make sure that she was okay but to make sure that she was real.
It wasn’t long before he was passing the entrance to the park and taking a quick look around. He spotted the blonde in no time flat and made his way over to her.

Some part of her was still hoping that it was some twisted game of Mitch’s or something. Because things like this didn’t happen. At all. Unless on tv and the last time she checked this was real life, not make-believe. Much like Greta, it wasn’t hard for her to miss Mitch.
So when he came into her view an saw him approaching rather quickly she made her way towards him with just as much urgency as he had. Once close enough though, she wrapped her arms around him and held him tight, but not too tight because she did remember his shoulder.

The second that he could, he wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. She was real. They were both really living out this weirdness. It could be worse. They could be dealing either all of this alone. But they didn’t have to. They had each other.
He finally pulled away, breaking the hug, to give her the once-over. Sure, she said she was okay, but he just had to give her a quick look over to make sure that she was indeed okay.
“Let’s get out of here.” He didn’t want to stick around the park anymore. He grabbed her hand and started to head out. “Did you get anything off of the network?” He had barely glanced at it and the moment he saw Greta on it, his full attention went to her and her only.

“Mitch, Mitch I’m fine.” She said assuring him once she watched him give her a once over. But this was Mitch and he wasn’t going to listen. But once his hand came to take hers and he voiced getting out of the park she nodded her head. “Where are we going?” She asked as she arched a brow,
Her hand coming to hold his arm lightly for the moment. When he asked about gathering anything she nodded her head. “I glanced around a bit, a lot of people just seemed to have shown up here, the same as us. A lot of other people say there’s no way of going back home. Something about some stones. But I don’t know what that means.”

“I had to make sure,” he told her. That’s all. As for where they were going. He hadn’t a clue. “I don’t know.” He did have an address for an apartment, but did he really want to go there? Could he trust anything that dog said or anything that he gave him? He really had no idea.
He had no connections here. No safe houses to run to. They were utterly alone with nobody to help them. “Stones?” That seemed pretty weird. And once again pretty sci-fi-ish. “That doesn’t seem right. Are you sure?”

She didn’t say anything when he said he had no idea where they were going. Right now, everything was new which left them vulnerable to damn near everything. Greta wasn’t too thrilled about that, and she was sure Mitch wasn’t either.
“Nothing about this seems right.” She said for the moment. But soon nodded her head. “I’m sure, they said something about ‘this must be the stones doing’ or ‘what’s happening with the stones’. She said with another shrug,

“I wonder what that all means.” It just didn’t sound right. Unless it was a code word for something. Maybe. He really had no idea. He was just grasping straws at so little information at the moment. The only good thing about this place was the fact that nobody would be able to find him.
“Fuck it,” he said more to himself than to Greta. They were going to the address that he was given. They couldn’t walk around forever. “We’ll figure it out.” Sooner rather than later, he hoped.

Greta never once questioned Mitch when it came to leading her places. So when he started walking with the direction she followed. Her hand grasping at his still as she kept close to him
“Did they give you an apartment also?” She asked since the talking dog had given her one. But with Mitch here she doubted she would be staying in it. She'd much rather stay with him.

Mitch kept a hold of her hand as he weaved through the crowd that was on the sidewalk. “They did,” he replied with a quick glance over at Greta. “They gave you one as well?” If that were the case, maybe they could go back and forth between them or just use her apartment for something else completely. “Did they give you anything else?” He just wanted to see if they ended up with the same stuff.
It didn’t take much longer for them to arrive at the apartment that had been given to him. He was cautious when they first entered. He had to make sure this hadn’t been some kind of trick. And as far as he could tell, the place was clear and they would be okay there. For now.

She nodded her head when he asked if they gave her an apartment. “The device to keep in contact with everyone, a card with money on it.” She stated as she moved through the crowded streets. She did notice people seemed fairly at ease here. As if this was all normal. It wasn’t, least not to them.
Once they reached the apartment, she let Mitch make sure everything was clear to enter. When it was, she came to step inside, her own glance given for the moment as she came to move a few steps towards the window as she glanced out. A deep exhale was soon heard leaving her, as she relaxed just a bit more. Deep brown hues came to look towards Mitch, as she moved towards him and wrapped her arms around his back and held him close for the moment. Least they weren’t here alone.

“I have the same.” It sounded like they both had the same experience when they woke up here and were given the same. He still wished that they were both given a lot more information. He didn’t get much out of the dog, yeah, that was still weird to think about, and he doubted Greta got anything extra either. Someone had to know more than what had been said. It just meant reaching out to a lot of strangers. He wasn’t quite sure if he wanted to do that.
The apartment was small and they were on the second floor. Not only had he been making sure that the apartment was clear, but he had been looking at their options of escape if they needed it.
Once he was sure the door was locked he walked up behind Greta and looked out the window. “We’ll be okay,” he said to her as he put his own arms around her and held her. He would make damn sure nothing happened to Greta.
