Nah... nothing like that. A jacked-up Infinity Stone is the reason for all that. As for this place... Galador's population was mostly wiped out in a war some years back... so they're being cool enough to let us all stay here. Each part of the continent we live on has different people in charge, like towns and cities on Earth.

My 'rents, Peter and Kitty Quill, are two of the folks who help run Freedomtown. I'm Kurt, by the way. What should I call you, besides gorgeous?

Cheesy it may be...but it's not a line. Honest to god, I'm not even flirting. I just call 'em like I see 'em. And you're kinda gorgeous. Own it.

And yeah. Queen Irinia is a hell of a woman. She went to bat for all of us and got the Galadorian Council to take us all in.

If you want, I'd be happy to show you around. I can't promise to know how everything is in THIS time, but I at least know the general layout.

We have a queen? That's an actual thing here? I mean back home we barely keep camps organised, let alone form monarchy's and councils. Pretty impressive.
