The response was not wholly unexpected to Liara. It was a piratical assessment of an incredibly impractical situation. The transition to Knowhere was disorienting to say the least and she could easily imagine that showing up injured did not at all help matters in the slightest.
"I am afraid I cannot answer that question for you." Liara offered hesitantly. Something about this whole situation had her on edge. Was it her own paranoia, perhaps she'd spent too much time in her world of secrets and betrayal? "And, though I imagine it comes as little consolation, it seems prudent to inform you that many of the ships inhabitants seem to share your position." Liara knew she certainly hadn't intended to end up here, though that was a bit too far of an admission to go with from the gut.
When the wrist was offered, Liara let her body shift sightly, dropping her gaze to inspect the severed area of the limb.
"How did you lose it?" She asked simply, her tone held under the guise of innocent questioning for the sake of treatment, while her own mind readied to process the answer and attempt to quell the sense in her stomach that told her to stay on alert. "And I confess my knowledge of robotics is limited..." But still she was pulling up the omni-tool, prepping the device to run some kind of diagnostic scan. "...But I do believe this damage should be reparable without too much need for surgical replacement."
Liara did have to admit however, based on what she could see, the bio-technical integration of the piece was rather impressive -- or at least she did until she thought about where she'd last seen something like that. It was enough to bring her own eyes up to stare seriously at the being across from her and push her posture back to it's full height.
"Perhaps we might see about finding you someone to get that fixed?" She offered, curious to see how the woman responded to the idea of involving outside help beyond that which stumbled across her. If her initial observations were correct, well, that was no need to go jumping to conclusions. Liara knew that she probably wouldn't have either, what with the her world as she knew it to be.
"And do forgive my lack of manners..." She added, just in case this woman was much less a woman and more some worst case scenario. "My name is Doctor Liara T'soni." Because, if this was less woman, more Reaper, Liara assumed that her name would carry some kind of clout due to her attachment.
Goddess. She thought. I could certainly do without that..
