Greetings residents of Knowhere. As I understand it, this communication device is a means by which I might best make my introductions to you all. Seeing as how I do not believe I'm crazyit appears that this is where I will be making my living for the foreseeable future, it seemed prudent to make a more official introduction.

My name is Doctor Liara T'soni. As I am sure comes as no surprise, I am not without my fair share of questions and would be expecting much the same in return. Again, given the likely tenure of our cohabitation, it seems prudent to share a bit of information about myself so as to better help us all come to an understanding.

As I said, my name is Liara. I was born on the planet Thessia and Goddess, I am terrible at these thingsI am a former Archeologist and researcher, or, at least I was, before some rather unfortunate events. My primary skills included data collection and analysis, forming cultural hypotheses, and the integration of technology. Do I mention my. I'm sure there will be many more questions as time passes here aboard the ship, and I'd like to make it known that I willingly and freely will answer all respectful questions to the best of my ability.

Also, is there someone I might see about obtaining an actual office, or perhaps access to some form of archival records, specifically pertaining to this ship or this supposed 'reality gem'? I understand that my being a stranger here might leave room for hesitancy when it comes to these requests, but I will happily avail myself for a more formal interview if that is what is required.
