There were a lot of old feelings that he'd shoved down that were rocketing up and basically slapping him in the face. Mitch was not going to turn into a ball of emotion in the middle of the park though. It was why he gripped Katrina as tight as he could without hurting her, worried that she was going to up and disappear. "I never... I'm so..."
He sighed, loosening his grip and smiled at her. Mitch knew he probably looked like he was ready to burst into tears and he didn't care. Not when he was living out his wildest dream. "Not here. Because you're not going to like it," he finally said after a moment of just staring at her in awe.
