"I'm not sure." Laura wasn't afraid to admit when she didn't know something, even when she was the subject in question. There wasn't much point in attempting otherwise. She was unlikely to be able to pull it off, and it was difficult to identify anything she'd gain from succeeding. "I'm interesting in eating. I haven't had much opportunity to cook before."
And frankly the thought of all the things she could be interested in if she tried them was... lengthy. And intimidating. It was, perhaps, why it was something she'd never determinedly tackled much before now, but then she'd also never been forced into quite so much inactivity before now, either.
