Qui-Gon hadn't quite figured out what to make of Luke just yet. A lot of it was to do with the fact that he imagined Anakin as a nine year old boy who'd barely left Tatooine, not a man old enough to become a father. He had a feeling there was still a lot of the story that he didn't know. He was interested to hear it though.
Arriving early, Qui-Gon found a table and waited.
He sensed Luke arrive through the Force. His presence rivaled that of Anakin's which he supposed wasn't surprised. "Luke correct?" he asked returning the smile. "Have a seat. I've ordered us some water to drink but wasn't sure if you wanted anything else."
