Re: Sam + Faith
Faith was glad she'd worn such a cute outfit, it was acceptable to wear at a wedding if she'd had a choice she would have worn something more special to this wedding. Faith had a headache, partially because she hadn't eaten and partially due to the circumstances of the day. She'd never had a day like today and doubted she ever would.
Sam was a breath of fresh air. Kind and thoughtful, she made a mental note to be more like him. She would have done the same for someone in her position. It didn't hurt that he was tall and handsome.
Faith watched the wedding transpire, with tears in her eyes. Weddings always made her cry. The pomp and circumstance, the handsome groom and the radiant bride made for a perfect day. She watched Sam as he did his best person duties and saw a smile cross his rugged face. As far as she was concerned, he was the best man there. A beautiful wedding and a gorgeous man by her side, she felt a bit of happiness that was out-of-sync with the earlier part of the day.
Finally, he was through with his duties to return to her and asked if she were hungry.
"Starved," Faith answered honestly, "I haven't eaten anything all day. You did a great job doing your Best Person duties."
