KYLA + OPEN
Kyla loved weddings. Not for the food, or drinks, or romance. (Though all of those things were lovely.) But for the dancing. Weddings were such a great excuse to dance for hours.
Having nibbled at some food and sipping champagne, Kyla went to congratulate the newlyweds and gave them each a warm hug. She was still getting to know them both, but they were family and she would always treat them as such. She flitted around the reception saying hi to various family members. She complimented Aunt Liz on the food and gave her mother a kiss and hug, happy that the statuesque blonde could relax now that the ceremony was over.
With all that done, Kyla made her way over to the dance floor. She'd purposely worn a colorful, floral dress that was perfect for a spring wedding. The guazy, float material was also perfect for dancing. The fabric swished and swirled perfectly in sync with her as began to dance to the upbeat song currently playing.
She never minded dancing alone. She'd done it practically her whole life. If someone wanted to join her, they would. If not, she was perfectly happy to lose herself in the music.
