She wondered what he meant by someone like you. Sookie had always been in the box 'someone like you,' but that was back home and they all thought she was touched in the head.
A frown crossed her lips as she thought about it then she shook her head to clear the negative thoughts caught in the cobwebs of her brain.
She took the final swig of her beer. "May I have another?" she asked running her fingers through her hair to tuck it back behind her ear.
"It's not like I want to read minds. It gets so noisey in there. That's the nice thing about Vampires, I can't hear their thoughts. But as for yours, I'll do my best. But you can think about puppies or something mundane when I'm around just for added precaution.
"I have been through some pretty rough times, not much would surprise me."
